GREEN ROOM PLAYERS
STAND Green Room Players is a dedicated performance team for students who are ready to grow, collaborate, and take their artistry beyond the classroom. This ensemble offers consistent training, meaningful performance opportunities, and the chance to build strong connections as both artists and teammates.
Throughout the season, students participate in a variety of performances, including a cabaret, a fully staged musical, and a final showcase. A highlight of the year is traveling to perform at Junior Theater Festival, where students represent STAND and engage with the larger theatre community.
As a traveling team, participants take part in fundraising efforts and contribute toward travel expenses, with payment plans available.
The Green Room Players is more than a class, it’s a commitment to excellence, creativity, and connection, helping students grow in confidence, character, and craft both on and off the stage.

HEAVINITY
Heavinity is a six-member Christian global girl group made up of girls ages 14–18, united by faith, friendship, and a shared calling to shine. Inspired by the dynamic performance style of KATSEYE, we blend high-energy K-pop–influenced choreography with original music that carries a message of hope and truth. But beyond the lights and stages, HEAVINITY is first and foremost a ministry. Our hearts are devoted to sharing the love of Christ both around the world and within our own local mission field, building real connections wherever we go. Through every lyric we write, every move we dance, and every smile we share, we strive to reflect God’s light—turning passion into praise and performance into a purpose that uplifts, encourages, and brings people closer to Him.

Performance Crews
STAND Performance Crews are high-energy hip hop teams for performers who are ready to grow in skill, confidence, and purpose while making an impact in their community. These crews train, travel, and perform at a variety of live events—from local festivals like Celebrate Roanoke to outreach opportunities in schools during Red Ribbon Week—using dance, acting, and vocals as a platform to encourage others.
Our Performance Crews are made up of three distinct teams, each designed for a different stage of growth:
STAND OUT Select is STAND’s professional performance team, made up of advanced performers ages 14–30. This team is hired to perform and minister at festivals, schools, churches, and more—giving students real-world performance experience. (Bonus: when STAND is paid, performers are paid.) Auditions include a hip hop combo and a short vocal audition, and members rehearse weekly with an August–May commitment.
STAND Up is designed for K–6th grade students who are growing in hip hop, acting, and vocals. This team focuses on building strong foundations while giving younger performers opportunities to take the stage and be part of outreach experiences. Auditions include a hip hop combo and vocal component, with a two-semester commitment.
STAND Strong is for performers ages 8–19 who are ready to further develop their performance skills and stage presence. Like all crews, this team combines hip hop, acting, and vocals while participating in performances and community events. Auditions follow the same format, with a two-semester commitment.
More than just a dance class, Performance Crews is a place where students build community, grow in confidence, and learn to use their gifts to make a difference both on and off the stage.
Ages: 6-30

STAND Jr. Players
We’re excited to introduce a brand new opportunity for our students—auditions are now open for rising 4th–8th graders to join STAND Jr. Players, our first-ever MT Junior Company!
This inaugural team will represent STAND on a special performance and learning experience in Orlando, Florida. Students selected will train, rehearse, and travel together as ambassadors of our program while participating in a festival that includes a 20-minute musical selection, as well as opportunities for solo and duet performances.
There is no fee to be part of the team itself. Families are only responsible for team attire and travel expenses, and additional family members are welcome to join the trip. Travel payments will be made directly through WorldStrides, with any fundraising contributions applied to each student’s account. Students should also plan for personal spending money during travel.
STAND Jr. Players is a unique opportunity to grow as a performer, build lasting friendships, and be part of something special from the very beginning.

One-Act
STAND One-Act Team is a focused, competitive performance group for students who are ready to take their acting to the next level. Centered around participation in the UIL One-Act Play competition, this team challenges performers to grow in discipline, storytelling, and ensemble work through an intensive rehearsal and performance process.
Students collaborate to bring a fully realized production to life within the UIL format, developing strong acting technique, stage presence, and a deep understanding of character and text. Along the way, they gain valuable experience in adjudicated performance, receiving feedback from industry professionals and learning how to refine their craft in a competitive setting.
More than just competition, the One-Act Team builds confidence, resilience, and unity—encouraging students to support one another, rise to challenges, and pursue excellence both on and off the stage.
