Set in 1940s Indiana, this beloved holiday classic follows young Ralphie Parker as he schemes, dreams, and pleads his way toward the ultimate Christmas gift: an Official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred-shot range model BB gun. Along the way, Ralphie navigates schoolyard bullies, a younger brother who refuses to eat, an infamous frozen flagpole, and parents who have very different ideas about what makes a perfect Christmas.
